Hunter X Hunter anime series on manga with the same name created by Yoshihiro Togashi. The plot revolves around the main character, a young boy named Gon Freecss, who discovers that his father, who he thought was dead, is actually alive and is a renowned hunter capable of finding secret treasures, rare beasts. Motivated by the thought of his father, Gon sets out on a journey to pass the Hunter Examination.
The story hosts a adventurous experience, engaging the viewers in the anime. The Hunters are the individuals capable of killing beasts and doing things normal people cannot. Below is the list of the weakest of the hunters shown in the series:-

7. Zepile


Zepile is a licensed hunter specializing not in combat but in appraising and negotiation. He is a tall person with thin body with a hairstyle including long braid. He is often seen wearing suit, which shows his professionalism. He is a excellent knowledge and understanding for various artifacts. He is also a skilled negotiator, able to set good deals and transactions with easy. He is considered weak because he lacks fighting abilities. He does not possess any physical talent or skills. He does not even have Nen, which is consider a system for combat purposes. His skills are well-suited in peaceful situations.

6. Tocino


Tocino is introduced in the Yorknew City Arc, where he is on a task to capture the members of the phantom troupe. He is a member of the Shadow Beasts, an elite group of Nen users under the direct command of the Ten Dons. Tocino is a tall, thin man with a distinct and serious appearance, characterized by his long, dark hair and a pair of glasses. Tocino is a Nen user, with type Manipulation. He has developed a ability named Eleven Black Children, with which  he can manipulate small doll-like figures to do his work. He is not a skilled person in close combat due to the limitations of his Nen ability. The dolls are not much durable and can be destroyed in seconds while facing a stronger opponent.

5. Pokkle


Pokkle is a licensed hunter primarily interested in the study of ants, particularly those who have been affected by Nen. He is a young man with short hair and a serious personality. He was introduced in the series in the Hunter Exam Arc, in which he was one of the few to pass the tests and earned a Hunter License. He is known for his intelligence and determination which becomes a huge help in the final phase of the series. His Nen type is Emission. He has developed a technique named Red Arrow, Where he creates a bow and arrow using his Nen and fires it at his enemies. This shows his preference for long range combat, showing that his powers is not effective in close combat. He is not a combat-seeker, prefers to study insects instead of fights.

4. Seaquant


Seaquant is a licensed hunter and was introduced in the Greed Island Arc as the game's staff. He is a middle-aged man with muscular appearance. He is often seen wearing simple clothings showing his straightforward and practical nature. His role in the series is as a guide and facilitator for the players in the Greed Island game, a game that uses Nen to create a unique and immersive experience. He is responsible for explaining the rules of the games to the new players. Despite being a licensed hunter, he is not combat-oriented character. His skills are more suited for management and guidance rather than fighting. This is the reason why he is considered one of the weakest hunters in the series. 

3. Satotz


Satotz was introduced in the Hunter Exam Arc. Satotz is a licensed hunter and one of the examiners for the Hunter Examination, a test that one must pass to become a licensed hunter. Satotz has a unique appearance which inclues a long mouth, wide-brimmed hat that obscures his eyes. He is shown calm, patient and fair individual who honesty. Despite the exam being harsh, he makes sure that the exam is conducted fairly. He is a Nen user, although his specific nen type is not revealed in the series. He is shown to have high level of endurance and speed. He is considered in the list because he has not shown any significant combat skills. Furthermore, compared to others, his role is much of a facilitator instead of a combatant.

2. Melody


Melody is introduced during the Yorknew City Arc, where she is hired as a bodyguard for Neon Nostrade. She is a Music Hunter and a member of the Nostrade Family's bodyguard team. She is a calm women with short height and gentle personality. Her main goal is to find and destroy the Dark Sonata, a piece of music that can cause physical changes to its listeners, which is how she gained her large ears. She is a Nen user with type Emission. She has developed a unique ability related to sound, where she can hear heartbeats. This ability is not combat-oriented, is useful for intel gathering. She is considered one of the weakest hunters shown in the series because of her non-combative nature and her supporting abilities.

1. Neon Nostrade


Neon Nostrade is the only daughter of Light Nostrade, a well-known figure in the underworld and is known for her ability to tell fortunes. She is introduced in the Yorknew City Arc, where her ability to tell fortunes becomes a central plot point. Her appearance is that of a small girl with  pink hair and expensive clothing showing her wealth. Her nen ability is very unique while her type being Specialist. She has developed a abillity called Lovely Ghostwriter , where she can predict a person's future in the form of a poem. Her ability is absolutely not combat-oriented and being from a rich family, she does not have any significant physical ability. Therefore, she is considered as the weakest hunter shown in the series.
